No. It provides general legal information and guided self-help. It does not represent users or provide legal advice.
Can I start free?
Yes. The starting map, organizers, official resources, lawyer directory and My Plan workspace do not require payment.
Do I need an online account?
No. Your organizer work is saved in this browser on this device unless you choose a session that is not kept after this tab closes.
Does the website file court papers?
No. It does not file, e-file, serve, sign or notarize papers.
Does an AI company read my family information?
No. These public tools work in this browser on this device and do not send family information to an AI company.
Are listed lawyers verified or participating?
No listing prepared from public sources is marked claimed, available or participating. Confirm current registration, services and fit independently.
Will using the directory contact a lawyer?
No. You choose whether to visit a lawyer’s public website or contact anyone. Divorce Law Aid does not send your plan to a listed professional.
Can the tools tell me whether an agreement is fair?
No. They can help organize terms, changes and questions, but they do not determine fairness, enforceability or what you should sign.
Does the date organizer calculate legal deadlines?
No. It stores dates you enter and asks you to record the source and whether you checked it. Verify every important date using the complete paper, current court information or individualized legal advice.
Does the contact planner send a message to a lawyer?
No. It prepares a neutral message and safe response preferences for you to copy or download. You decide whether, where and how to send it.
